"Men do not understand our feelings and don't know when to do certain things, unless we say it out loud!"
"Women need to learn how to express their feelings. that would make things much easier!"

Opposing sides of an argument making general statements about the opposite sex, which for all I know, could both actually be true. But I don't quite understand why should someone complain about this sort of stuff.

I might be wrong, but it seems that the general features of the opposite sex, say females, have attracted men over the ages, hence the selection, breeding and the gradual adjustments on their side. Theoretically (maybe too simplistic; who cares) each gender defines is, to a great extent, the fitness function for the opposite sex. So what we complain about on a daily basis, is mostly the reflection of our own gender's so-called flaws in defining what "fits" the best.

Does this mean all those women who used to express their feelings explicitly, got extinct over time for not being complicated or emotionally captivating enough? I know super-hairy men did.
