ِDespite its high score on imdb I didn't like Coppola junior's 4th movie. To be fair the cinematography is impressive and the ongoing love story sticks with you for a few days, but it seems like the director is leaning too much towards Murray's genuine improvising and Johanson's natural beauty. I mean I personally could not get the point of many scenes throughout the movie, e.g. when Murray constantly makes fun of the Japanese people and their accents, the exaggerated abnormality in Japanese people behavior like the lady in Murray's room, and finally the constant use of Johanson's body parts seem a little pushy. For god's sake the beginning scene is a close-up of Johanson's butt wearing nothing but a pair of see-through panties (don't miss it buying popcorns!), and believe me I have seen many -not make sense at the first look- scenes but this one has nothing to do with the rest of the storyline. See for yourself.
